Socioeconomic Diversity – Pathways To the Profession

This webinar recaps and expands on the successful presentation at the SAI Annual Convention 2023 and looks at routes to the profession. It examines barriers that may prevent potential actuaries from socially disadvantaged backgrounds from entering the profession. It features input from experts from the Economic & Social Research Institute (ESRI), the UCD University For All programme and the Society’s Working group on socio-economic diversity and provides insight into “Pathways to the Professions” a new UCD initiative for the Law Profession that may provide a future template for wider access to our own profession.
