Young Actuaries for a Sustainable World

The Journée 100% will include the very first roundtable session presented by the newly founded Young Actuaries Initiative. Under the theme „Young Actuaries for a Sustainable World“ Thrinayani Ramakrishnan Antoine Héranval will host a workshop bringing together young actuaries from various European countries to discuss the essential role of the actuarial profession in promoting sustainability.This exchange will offer a different perspective on how actuaries, with their skills in risk management, modeling and long-term foresight, can contribute to meeting the environmental, social and economic challenges of sustainability.Speakers will share their experiences and ideas on topics such as climate change, energy transition and corporate social responsibility. They will also examine how actuaries can innovate to support companies and financial institutions in integrating sustainable strategies. The workshop will encourage an intergenerational dialogue on how young actuaries can provide new solutions.
