We are witnessing an increasing global ageing trend, with the proportion of older people increasing in every continent. Europe is expected to remain the oldest region, while Asia, Latin America & the Caribbean are projected to experience the most rapid growth in their elderly populations. Africa will continue to have the youngest population profile despite steady ageing as well.
