The ECA 2024 in Rome - 2 days, 400 actuaries, and many insights for the profession

In early June, the Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE) and the Italian Society of Actuaries (ISOA) invited actuaries from all over the continent to the fifth European Congress of Actuaries (ECA 2024) in Rome, Italy. Under the theme 'Managing uncertainty in a changing world - Assessing risks sustainably for the well-being of society', 400 experts and executives from 32 countries across Europe and beyond gathered to discuss current actuarial topics. It was an amazing event with many insightful presentations, high-class plenary speakers and valuable opportunities for the European actuarial community to network and exchange knowledge.
