Retirement Protection Gap in Asia

This study conducts a comprehensive qualitative evaluation of public and private sector retirement, pension, and elderly healthcare solutions across selected Asian countries, aiming to identify financial risks, welfare outcomes, and perceived sufficiency of current systems through solution mapping and stakeholder surveys, while also developing a replicable model for assessing the effectiveness and sustainability of such schemes—ultimately supporting evidence-based policymaking and industry innovation to address Asia’s growing retirement protection gap and ensure a secure, dignified, and healthy post-retirement life for its aging population.
