We currently live in the world of post COVID-19. We are seeing a significantly increasing use of technologies, working from home need and the usage of online medical services which increase the risk of personal data to be attacked or stolen than ever before. Data privacy has been a hot topic in recent years. Some actions have been taken by the government to keep up to date with the rapid evolution of hacking capabilities but are not enough. We call for more laws around personal data and sharing and more focus on personal cyber insurance for insurers to better protect individual's personal data.
