Broader Space and Bigger Role - The Future of the Actuarial Profession Against AI

Artificial intelligence (AI) has made considerable achievements in its development today, and it has silently penetrated into our lives and has been applied to various fields, such as personal assistants, autonomous driving, healthcare, finance, e-commerce retail, education, and so on. It is foreseeable that in the near future, AI will gradually replace a large number of jobs. Will actuaries become one of them? Through this video, I would like to discuss the future development of the actuarial profession, the strengths of actuaries compared to AI and also share some suggestions to help young actuaries succeed in the future.
